Is it plagiarism or what?

A famous and respected artist repainted one of my paintings and said it was his. He posted 2 versions, and in both you can clearly see the same strokes I painted! I'd recognize my painting anywhere. Besides, he just put a texture over some part of it, so the strokes are still clearly visible. When he realized this, he changed the file, and this time modified the sky. But some other details he overlooked remain the exact same as I painted them. I can't believe he did this, actually, it's too amateurish.
